A minor was taken into custody last night following an incident where a police officer was struck with a moped. The incident occurred after the minor was initially stopped by officers from the Negotino Police Department for a routine control check.

Instead of complying, the minor started the moped and used it to hit one of the officers.

After being stopped a second time, an inspection of the moped led to the discovery and seizure of green plant matter.
