The Ministry of Local Self-Government has successfully procured IT equipment for all eight Centers for Development of Planning Regions, marking a significant step towards enhancing their operational capacities. This initiative is part of the “Sustainable and Inclusive Balanced Regional Development” – Phase 2 project, backed by the Swiss Government.
The procured equipment, valued at 1,295,500.00 MKD, includes laptops, personal computers, monitors, multifunctional printers, and NAS systems, all tailored to meet the specific needs of the Centers.
During a symbolic handover event, directors of the Centers emphasized that the new IT infrastructure will significantly improve their ability to provide faster and more efficient access to information. They also highlighted its importance in supporting sustainable development efforts across all regions of the country.
The Ministry believes that these strengthened and well-equipped Centers will serve as a foundation for continued growth and development, ultimately improving living conditions for all citizens, particularly those in less developed areas.
