The Ministry of Interior employees received a 10 percent salary increase today, according to Minister of Interior Panche Toshkovski.

Toshkovski acknowledged past criticisms regarding low salaries within the Ministry, especially when compared to related services, stating that the feeling of undervaluation was justified.

While recognizing that this increase is not a complete solution, Toshkovski emphasized it as a step towards restoring the dignity and reputation of police officers.

The ultimate objective, according to Toshkovski, is to cultivate a modern, professional, and strong police force dedicated to serving the citizens.

Toshkovski affirmed the commitment to providing better conditions, greater support, and genuine appreciation for the daily efforts of the Ministry’s personnel.
