The Ministry of Digital Transformation, led by Stefan Andonovski, is under increased scrutiny following allegations of questionable tender awards, with the latest involving 600,000 denars. This follows a previous controversy regarding a tender awarded to the state secretary’s husband.
According to information from whistleblowers, there are suspicions that the latest tender was awarded to a company connected to the parents of an employee within the Ministry’s IT sector. VMRO-DPMNE has confirmed the tender, while Andonovski has remained silent, raising concerns about nepotism, conflict of interest, and misuse of public funds.
The SDSM party is calling for an immediate investigation by the Public Prosecutor’s Office into all tenders awarded by the Ministry of Digital Transformation. They are also urging the SCPC to broaden its existing case and release its findings to the public.
SDSM insists that Minister Andonovski must be held accountable, and institutions must demonstrate their impartiality, even when officials from VMRO-DPMNE are implicated. They question whether these tender issues are isolated incidents or indicative of a larger scheme.
SDSM emphasizes the matter is not a partisan issue but a matter of public interest, justice, and combating systemic corruption. They pledge to continue publishing information and evidence of potential abuses within the Ministry.
