On March 31, Minister of Justice Igor Filkov issued a congratulatory message for the Day of Macedonian Judiciary, emphasizing the importance of an efficient, transparent, and responsible judicial system that ensures justice for all citizens. Filkov stated that judicial independence is fundamental to the rule of law and essential for maintaining public trust.

He stressed that the capacity and knowledge within the judiciary are vital for building a system where laws are applied equally and impartially. He highlighted the crucial role of integrity and expertise among judges, prosecutors, attorneys, public authority holders, lawyers, mediators, notaries, executors, court officials, court advisors, court police, and all court employees in achieving fast, efficient, and fair justice.

Filkov concluded by asserting that the rule of law must be a tangible reality within every courtroom and institution, not merely a statement of intent.
