SDSM accuses Mickoski of falsely claiming credit for a Canadian company’s commissioning, which they say was secured by the previous government. DPMNE and Mickoski are criticized for allegedly taking credit for achievements made by others, specifically the “Magna Mechatronics” investment announced in May 2023 by the previous Prime Minister and SDSM government.
SDSM asserts that Mickoski’s actions highlight his government’s lack of new ideas and economic policies, as they have yet to attract any significant foreign investment in nearly a year, causing economic stagnation. The opposition party argues that Mickoski should acknowledge the reality of the situation, where the economy is not growing and living standards are declining, rather than engaging in cheap PR by promoting already established investments.
According to SDSM, Mickoski’s behavior is unbecoming of his position, and they remind citizens that the information about the company is publicly available. They also anticipate that Mickoski will soon take credit for the “My VAT” project as well.
