Skopje’s Road Traffic Safety Department conducted a targeted operation yesterday between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM to address illegal parking in the city center. This initiative aimed to improve overall traffic safety.

During the operation, authorities issued a total of 20 sanctions. These included six misdemeanor payment orders for vehicles parked in violation of regulations.

Additionally, 12 vehicles were removed by the “spider” special vehicle. Two further measures were taken for other traffic violations observed during the enforcement period.

The Ministry of Interior has stated that traffic controls will continue in the coming days, urging all road users to adhere to traffic laws and regulations to promote safer roads for everyone.
