Mayor Goran Gerasimovski of the Municipality of Centar has extended his congratulations to the public on May 5th, Macedonian Language Day. He highlighted the importance of the language as a fundamental aspect of national identity.

In his message, Gerasimovski stated that language is integral to a nation’s sense of belonging, heritage, and commitment to the future. He urged citizens to cherish, cultivate, and pass on the Macedonian language with affection and devotion, both now and for the generations to come.

Gerasimovski emphasized that the Macedonian language merits recognition, appreciation, and usage in all spheres. The celebration of Macedonian Language Day commemorates the formal adoption of the Macedonian alphabet.
