Martin Kostovski, responding to SDSM mayoral candidate Brane Petrushevski’s press conference, asserted that there is “great nervousness” within the SDSM party. He accused Petrushevski of spreading “old lies and slanders.”

Kostovski stated on his Facebook profile that Petrushevski, whom he describes as being against poor workers and higher wages, is attempting to damage his reputation with false claims.

He further claimed that a court has already ruled against Petrushevski for similar slanders, ordering him to pay Kostovski 2,500 euros in damages, which Kostovski intends to donate.

Kostovski also implicated Maksim Dimitrievski, accusing him of being the “biggest criminal” and alleging that Dimitrievski is cooperating with SDSM to avoid accountability.

He concluded by stating that the people of Kumanovo are aware of the situation and will punish SDSM in the upcoming local elections. He also remarked that Petrushevski is not a candidate from VMRO-DPMNE because “no one in the party wants him.”
