Heavy rainfall caused the Markova River to overflow, leading to flooding in several villages and disrupting transportation. Houses, warehouses, and industrial facilities were flooded in Studeničani, Batinci, and parts of Pintija. A section of “Boris Trajkovski” boulevard near Pintija was also flooded, with reports of flooded warehouses.
Municipal services from Studeničani and Kisela Voda are assisting in the affected areas. The Municipality of Aerodrom is responding to reports of flooded houses in Gorno Lisiče.
The Fire Protection Unit of the City of Skopje, public enterprises, and local self-government units are also involved in the response. The local road from Gorno Lisiče to Dolno Lisiče and the first bridge in Batinci are impassable.
Bus line 70 is rerouted to Drizla, and bus line 33 is rerouted through Drachevo. Railway traffic towards Lisiče and Drachevo has been interrupted, with passenger traffic rerouted through Trubarevo.
