The “Manaki Brothers” Film Festival is set to host its 46th edition in Bitola and has officially announced a call for film submissions. Filmmakers can submit their work from April 17 to June 27 via FilmFreeway.
Several awards will be presented at the festival, including the Golden Camera 300 for Best Cinematography in the Official Selection. The festival will also award the Silver Camera 300 and Bronze Camera 300 for Cinematography within the Official Selection.
The Iron Camera 300 will recognize the best cinematography in the Documentary Film Competition, while the Small Camera 300 will honor the best cinematography in the Short Film Competition. The Crystal Camera 300 will be awarded for best cinematography in the Student Film Competition.
Honorary awards include the Golden Camera 300 for Lifetime Achievement in Cinematography and a Special Golden Camera 300 for Outstanding Contribution to World Cinematic Art. The Golden Camera 300 for Creative Synergy will also be awarded to recognize the collaborative work of a cinematographer and either a director, gaffer, camera operator, steadicam operator, or key grip. Additionally, the Great Star of Macedonian Cinematography will be awarded.
