A 51-year-old man from Strumica was arrested yesterday in Shtip for driving under the influence of alcohol. R.P. was apprehended by police officers from the SIA Shtip on “Goce Delchev” Street at 7:45 PM.

During a routine traffic stop, officers pulled over the Volkswagen Passat R.P. was driving, which had Strumica registration plates. A breathalyzer test revealed a blood alcohol level of 2.19 per mille.

Following a thorough investigation, a report will be filed against R.P. under Article 297-a of the Criminal Code, which addresses reckless driving. The authorities are proceeding with the legal process.
