Magdeburg Qualifies for Champions League Quarter-Finals

Magdeburg secured a spot in the Champions League quarter-finals after defeating Dinamo Bucharest 35-29, resulting in a ten-goal aggregate victory.

The German team dominated the first half, establishing a double-digit lead, before easing up in the second half, allowing Bucharest to narrow the gap.

Omar Ingi Magnusson led Magdeburg with eight goals, while Vujovic was Bucharest’s top scorer with six.

In another match, Nantes overturned the result from the first leg and eliminated Wisla Plock with a 29-24 victory.

Abdi of Nantes and Michalovic of Wisla Plock were the top scorers in that game, each netting six goals. The match was officiated by Macedonian referees Mitrevski and Todorovski.
