An operation conducted by law enforcement in Tetovo resulted in multiple arrests and the discovery of illegal substances and weapons.

Last night, between 11 PM and 2 AM, police officers from the Tetovo Department of Internal Affairs, along with the State Market Inspectorate, the State Labor Inspectorate, and the Directorate for Protection and Rescue, carried out an action control in three catering facilities located in the area of the Tetovo Department of Internal Affairs.

During the control, authorities arrested R.E., 32, from Tetovo, after a search of one catering facility revealed cocaine, which was then seized.

Additionally, E.I., 32, from Bogovinje, A.J., 55, from Tetovo, Sh.L., 27, from the village of Poroj, and E.A., 35, from the village of Mala Rechica, were detained in the three catering facilities after officers found sharp objects on their person. The individuals were held at the police station, and after documentation of the cases is completed, appropriate submissions will be prepared for them in accordance with Article 215 of the Criminal Code and Article 80 of the Law on Weapons.

The State Market Inspectorate will issue closure orders to two of the facilities because the other institutions involved in the action control found a number of irregularities.
