The Municipality of Kisela Voda is planting plane trees at “Kuzman Shapkarev” primary school as part of a large ecological initiative across schools and kindergartens. The “EU for Clean Air” project, financed by the European Union, is supporting the action by donating the seedlings.

Mayor Orce Gjorgjievski emphasized that planting trees is an investment in children’s future and that the municipality is continuously working to improve air quality and the environment. He highlighted the importance of the donation being aimed at schools and kindergartens.

The municipality has also installed air purifiers in all schools and outdoor purifiers in larger parks. Mayor Gjorgjievski expressed gratitude to the European Union and the Project Services Office for their support.

The mayor added that this project demonstrates shared values for the environment and future generations’ health, contributing to a cleaner, greener, and healthier Kisela Voda.
