Jonathan David, the Lille striker, is reportedly nearing a move to Italy. Currently, David is in negotiations with Inter and Juventus, as reported by “Sky Sport,” these clubs have expressed considerable interest in acquiring him.
David’s contract with Lille expires on June 30, and he has stated his intention not to renew it, believing it’s the right moment to advance his career. While the Canadian player previously expressed a desire to play for Barcelona, the club has withdrawn their interest.
Inter holds an advantage in securing his signature; however, competition for playing time at Inter is intense. The club already has Lautaro Martinez, Marcus Thuram, Mehdi Taremi, and Marko Arnautovic, whose contract also ends on June 30. It is expected that Marcus Thuram, in addition to Arnautovic, may also depart from Inter.
