A 19-year-old is under investigation for allegedly committing a violent assault in Kisela Voda. The suspect, along with several unidentified individuals, is accused of attacking two people in front of a tobacco shop on April 21 at approximately 2:00 a.m., according to the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
The victims were reportedly sitting in front of the shop when the suspect and the group attacked them, striking them with concrete paving stones. One victim sustained serious bodily injuries, while the other suffered bodily injuries. The incident also caused “a feeling of insecurity, threat, and fear” in a 10-year-old child who witnessed the event, the Prosecutor’s Office stated.
To ensure the integrity of the investigation, the public prosecutor has proposed several precautionary measures against the suspect. These measures include a ban on leaving his place of residence, mandatory periodic reporting to a designated court official, temporary confiscation of his passport or travel documents, and a restraining order preventing him from approaching or contacting the victims.
