Six individuals are under investigation in Skopje for allegedly producing and distributing illegal drugs. The Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Skopje formally opened the investigation after a period of pre-investigation and evidence gathering.
The suspects are accused of drug trafficking between May 1 and July 3, 2025. They allegedly worked together to sell and possess drugs for sale.
Authorities allege the group possessed approximately 6.5 kilograms of amphetamine, 257 grams of marijuana, and 98 MDMA tablets. The pre-investigation involved special investigative measures.
All six suspects were arrested on July 3 in a coordinated operation. Searches were conducted at multiple locations in Skopje and Kumanovo.
During the searches, authorities seized marijuana, hashish, amphetamine, cocaine, various tablets, digital scales, and cash, in addition to the drugs mentioned above. A judge will consider a proposal to detain all six suspects.
