A 50-year-old man from Skopje faces charges after a public prosecutor filed an indictment for Causing General Danger, stemming from repeated traffic offenses committed by his son, including a fatal accident. The father allegedly allowed his son to drive a “Peugeot 207” despite knowing the son lacked a driver’s license and had a history of traffic violations.

The preliminary investigation revealed that between November 4, 2022, and January 30, 2025, the defendant’s actions posed a danger to the life and safety of others. He was aware of the potential for harmful consequences but disregarded the risk.

The son’s traffic offenses included a minor traffic accident in November 2022, 11 traffic violations during 2023 and 2024 (driving without a license, driving under the influence, ignoring traffic signals and pedestrian crossings), and a fatal traffic accident on January 29, 2025.
