The Independent Union of Journalists and Media Workers (SSNM) is organizing a blood donation drive on April 30th to commemorate World Press Freedom Day on May 3rd. The event will be held simultaneously at multiple locations across the country.

The blood donation drive is scheduled for April 30, 2025, and will take place between 08:00 and 14:00 in Skopje at the Day Center for Blood Donation of the Red Cross of the City of Skopje (DHO “Dare Dzambaz”). Simultaneously, donations can be made from 09:00 to 14:00 at the transfusion medicine services in the Clinical Center Bitola, the General Hospital in Strumica, PHI General Hospital Prilep, and the Clinical Center in Stip.

This is the third consecutive year the Union has organized a blood donation campaign. The initiative is a collaborative effort with the Association of Journalists of Macedonia (ZNM) and receives support from the Red Cross of the City of Skopje.
