Prime Minister and President of VMRO-DPMNE, Hristijan Mickoski, addressed young people and citizens from all ethnic communities at an event celebrating the 34th anniversary of the Union of Young Forces (UMS), emphasizing the importance of unity and family values. He highlighted that collective strength is crucial, and that division makes them vulnerable.

Mickoski stressed the importance of young people being avant-garde, like the UMS of VMRO-DPMNE. He acknowledged the significant role the UMS has played in shaping state leadership, noting that many current municipal leaders, directors, MPs, and government ministers are alumni of the organization. He expressed confidence in the continued leadership of young people at both local and central levels.

Mickoski also spoke about the importance of family as a core value, linking it to modern patriotism and the future of Macedonia. He emphasized that forming strong families is a powerful expression of love for the country and its people.

He noted recent legislative changes promoting the family as a fundamental value, moving away from past gender policies in education. These changes aim to reinforce the traditional family structure in educational materials. Mickoski explained that these measures are part of a broader effort to improve demographics and strengthen family units.
