Healthcare workers have received a salary increase of 2,500 denars with their April salary for March, according to VMRO-DPMNE. This increase, combined with the increase in November of last year, means salaries in public healthcare have risen by 4,815 denars, and salaries for nurses have increased by 6,200 denars. The average salary in public healthcare is now over 50,000 denars due to the October increase of 10.49%, which will cumulatively reach 17.18%. VMRO-DPMNE stated that unlike the period from 2021-2023 when the real growth was only 3.8%, healthcare workers are now receiving a real growth in their salaries of 9.4%. The Government led by VMRO-DPMNE claims it is fulfilling its promises and working to increase salaries in all sectors.
