Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Nikoloski and Deputy Minister Kaltrina Zekoli Shakiri met with ZELS representatives to discuss establishing a legal arrangement for installing urban equipment, potentially through a new Rulebook.
Currently, municipalities independently regulate urban equipment installation, leading to inconsistencies. The aim is to create a single, nationwide procedure.
A working group comprising representatives from the Ministry of Transport and ZELS will collaborate to prepare the regulations. A new Rulebook is expected within a reasonable timeframe.
Nikoloski emphasized the government’s view of municipalities as equal partners in creating legal solutions, particularly in construction and construction land. He anticipates finding common ground and creating unified procedures for all municipalities.
