The government has announced a comprehensive 40 million euro strategy and operational plan aimed at supporting young people and promoting entrepreneurship, which will include over 16,000 citizens. This initiative includes the launch of two new measures under the Operational Employment Plan for 2025, specifically designed for unemployed individuals seeking to start their own businesses.
The Operational Employment Plan for 2025 has officially launched calls for Measure 1.1 and Measure 1.2. Measure 1.1 offers grants of 430,500 denars (approximately 7,000 euros) to citizens over the age of 29, while Measure 1.2 provides grants of up to 615,000 denars (approximately 10,000 euros) for individuals up to 29 years of age to start their own businesses.
An additional 250,000 denars is available above the basic grant for people with disabilities, ensuring equal opportunities for all applicants.
Both measures offer comprehensive support, including entrepreneurship training, business plan development, and six-month mentoring programs. This holistic approach ensures that participants receive not only financial assistance but also the knowledge and guidance necessary for successful business management.
The government emphasizes its commitment to fostering an inclusive labor market and empowering individuals as key contributors to the country’s economic progress through these measures and projects. These initiatives are designed to create favorable conditions for development, employment, self-employment, and long-term economic growth.
