The Municipality of Gjorce Petrov is offering subsidies to residents who purchase new bicycles, covering 50% of the cost, up to a maximum of 3,000 denars, inclusive of personal income tax. This initiative aims to promote healthy and ecological habits among citizens.

The public call, announced today, specifies that residents who buy a new bicycle within the Republic of Macedonia between January 1, 2025, and June 30, 2025, are eligible to apply. The subsidy program will continue until June 30, 2025, or until the allocated budget of 500,000 denars is exhausted.

Applications will be reviewed on a “first come, first served” basis, based on the submission date and time. Interested residents can submit their applications, along with the required documentation, to the Municipality’s archive on working days from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM in a sealed envelope.

Mayor Aleksandar Stojkoski emphasized the importance of this measure, stating that it reflects the municipality’s commitment to environmental care and encouraging physical activity as key components of local policies. He invites all interested residents to take advantage of this opportunity to adopt a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle.
