Gazeli Volley and Pelister Volley have secured promotion to the First Women’s Volleyball League for the upcoming season. The two teams earned their spots after dominating the Second League this championship.
Gazeli Volley finished the season as champions with a perfect record of 20 wins in 20 matches, losing only three sets throughout the entire season. Their outstanding performance secured their place in the First League.
Pelister Volley also earned promotion as the second-placed team in the Second League. The Bitola team had an excellent championship, suffering only two defeats, both against Gazeli Volley.
Bami Kor and Vardar Zeni 2019, who finished third and fourth respectively, will compete in a play-off for a chance to enter the First League.
Their opponents will be Strumica Zeni and Uskana, the seventh and eighth-placed teams from the First League.
The first play-off match is scheduled for April 23, with Bami Kor hosting Uskana and Vardar Zeni 2019 playing against Strumica Zeni.
The return matches will take place on April 26. After these matches, the final composition of teams for both the First and Second Women’s Leagues will be determined for the next season.
