Fuel Prices to Increase

Gasoline will cost 1.5 denars more per liter and diesel will increase by one denar per liter starting tonight, according to the Regulatory Commission for Energy, Water Services and Municipal Waste Management Services (RKE). This decision raises petroleum product retail prices by an average of 1.84 percent.

The new prices are: EUROSUPER BS-95 at 76.5 denars per liter, EUROSUPER BS-98 at 79 denars, EURODIESEL BS (D-E V) at 69 denars, and Extra light fuel oil (EL-1) at 69 denars per liter. Mazut M-1 will also increase to 41.705 denars per kilogram.

RKE noted increases in reference prices on the world market compared to the previous calculation: gasoline up 3.381 percent, diesel up 1.884 percent, extra light oil up 1.987 percent, and mazut up about 2.396 percent. The denar’s exchange rate against the dollar is also 0.7218 percent higher than in the previous calculation.
