The First Infantry Brigade (1.pbr) will observe its Unit Day tomorrow, April 2, 2025, beginning at 12:00 PM at the “Strasho Pindzur” barracks in Petrovec.

Dignitaries including Minister of Defense Vlado Misajlovski, Chief of the General Staff of the Army Major General Sashko Lafchiski, Army generals, representatives from the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff, commanders of subordinate commands and units, and other invited guests will be present at the celebration.

The high-ranking military representatives in attendance will deliver speeches as part of the Unit Day commemoration.

April 2nd was chosen as the Day of the First Infantry Brigade to mark the date when the unit was reorganized and assumed the duties of two previous brigades, establishing it as the Army’s largest combat unit.
