A driver died and a passenger sustained severe injuries yesterday in a single-vehicle accident on the Mavrovo-Debar regional road. The incident occurred at Skudrinski Most when a “Land Rover” passenger vehicle with Tetovo license plates veered off the road, according to the Rostushe Police Department’s report.

The driver, identified as Sh.S. (49) from Tetovo, sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. His wife, A.S. (47), who was a passenger in the vehicle, suffered severe bodily injuries and was transported to the Tetovo Clinical Hospital for treatment.

A team from the Gostivar Police Department, in coordination with a public prosecutor, conducted an inspection at the site of the accident.
