North Macedonia is bracing for another day of extremely hot weather, with temperatures expected to soar as high as 43 degrees Celsius. The Hydrometeorological Service (УХМР) has forecast sunny conditions with slight to moderate local cloud cover throughout the country today.

Skopje will experience similar weather, with sunny skies and afternoon cloud cover. The capital city is also expected to reach a maximum temperature of 43 degrees Celsius. A weak to moderate south wind is expected in both Skopje and the rest of the country.

While today will be exceptionally hot, a change in weather is anticipated tomorrow and in the first half of next week. The Hydrometeorological Service (УХМР) predicts afternoon instability with torrential rain and thunderstorms in some areas.

A northerly wind will bring cooler temperatures, offering respite from the current heatwave. The daily temperature will be decreasing in the following days.
