The Government and the Ministry of Environment have announced a public competition for the allocation of 229 million denars from the Environmental Investment Program to improve the environment, preserve biodiversity, and raise public awareness.

The funds will support sewage and wastewater treatment projects, water supply initiatives, research programs, and educational efforts focused on increasing environmental awareness.

Municipalities, non-governmental organizations, educational and scientific institutions, and individuals or organizations with relevant ideas are encouraged to apply.

Innovative solutions are particularly encouraged this year.

The “Vredi” coalition aims to strengthen socio-ecological policies and promote sustainable development for the benefit of all citizens and future generations.
