The Public Procurement Bureau will launch an upgraded Electronic Public Procurement System on April 1, 2025, featuring new functionalities and advanced tools to streamline processes for buyers and bidders.
According to Finance Minister Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska, this reform will enhance transparency, efficiency, and accountability in public procurement by simplifying documentation, promoting broader participation, and incorporating innovative technologies for advanced data analytics.
The upgraded system harmonizes with EC standards, paving the way for the ESPP to become an official member (e-Sender) of the EU’s TED platform and implements automated tender documentation creation to improve quality, reduce errors, and minimize procedure cancellations, ultimately shortening participation times and bolstering offer security.
A new tool for structuring financial offers will improve price transparency and traceability, enabling better monitoring, analysis, and comparison of offer prices and contract values, providing insights into market trends and supporting comparative analysis.
Furthermore, the upgrade lays the groundwork for future reforms, including the introduction of a unified e-invoice for public procurement in collaboration with the Public Revenue Office.
Director Mare Bogoeva Micovska and the Public Procurement Bureau team are dedicated to continuous improvement of the public procurement system through innovative tools and enhanced integrity.
