Accountants’ expertise is essential for accurate business decisions and the preparation of financial reports and tax returns, which are crucial for the state. The Institute of Accountants and Certified Accountants promotes the profession and its alignment with international standards, enhancing the competitiveness of domestic companies. Accountants are the financial bloodstream of companies, contributing to their development and the overall economy.
A new Law on Accountants, compliant with European legislation, including the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, and international standards, is under development. The law will incorporate ESG standards (Environmental, Social, Governance) to promote sustainable business practices.
