Dunja Ivanova from the “Energy” Cycling Club achieved second place in the senior category at the Marathon – Mountain Bike Cup in Cambrils, Spain. The event, part of the UCI World Cycling Federation calendar, saw over 300 cyclists from around the world competing.

Ivanova completed the 63-kilometer course, which included a 1400-meter altitude difference, strong winds, desert and rocky terrains, and challenging descents. Pilar Fernandez Hernandez from ISB Factor took first place, and Torres Huges Lorelei from FAC secured third place, both are cyclists from Spain.

This placement earned Ivanova 25 points, improving her standing in the World MTB ranking. She will participate in the Garda marathon in Italy next week as part of her preparations for the season’s main events in Italy and Switzerland.
