A 25-year-old man was arrested in Makedonski Brod early this morning for allegedly driving under the influence and causing a collision with a parked vehicle. M.S., from Makedonski Brod, is suspected of “reckless driving of a motor vehicle” according to Article 297-A of the Criminal Code.

The incident occurred at 01:30 AM on “Krushevska Republika” street. M.S. was driving a “Peugeot” passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates when he allegedly struck a parked “Opel” passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates, owned by M.T., 28, from Skopje.

The collision resulted in material damage to the vehicles. No injuries were reported.

A breathalyzer test revealed that M.S. had a blood alcohol level of 2.04 promiles. Police officers documented the incident and arrested M.S. at 02:04 AM.

An appropriate report will be filed against him.
