Actor Dimitrija Doksevski was chosen as the new director of the “Manaki Brothers” International Cinematographer’s Film Festival during today’s formal Assembly of the Association of Film Workers (DFRM). DFRM announced that Doksevski presented the festival’s program proposal and committed to maintaining the reputation of the international film festival. The DFRM statute specifies that Doksevski’s term will cover the next two festival editions.

Doksevski’s background includes extensive experience in film and theater, holding a master’s degree in directing from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje. Born in Skopje on July 28, 1983, he graduated in acting in 2006 and has been actively involved in the Drama Theater Skopje since 2014, after working at the Macedonian National Theater and the Kumanovo Theater.

Beyond his acting career, Doksevski has participated in organizing and producing theater performances, musical events, and festivals, and has also produced short films and videos.
