The Development Bank has disbursed 74 million euros from the second tranche of a credit line to commercial banks, benefiting 248 companies undertaking investment and development projects.
Small businesses will receive the largest share of this tranche, accounting for 62% of the funds, which will support 153 approved projects.
In terms of business sectors, 96 projects are in production, 27 in construction, 61 in trade, 38 in transport, 9 in hotels and catering, 12 in services, and 5 in other activities.
Macedonian companies plan to allocate 28 million euros of this tranche to equipment, 36 million euros to construction investments, 7 million euros to renewable energy sources, and 3 million euros to transport vehicles.
The Development Bank aims to distribute the remaining tranches of the credit line in the near future.
