A 51-year-old man from Mogorche, Debar, was arrested yesterday for driving under the influence of alcohol. S.M. was apprehended by Debar police officers on “Elena Gjika” street at 5:35 PM.

During a routine traffic stop, police stopped S.M.’s Ford passenger vehicle, which had Debar registration plates. A breathalyzer test revealed a blood alcohol level of 2.41 per mille.

As a result of the incident, S.M. was immediately excluded from traffic, and his driver’s license was confiscated.

A payment order was issued, and a criminal charge will be filed against him under Article 297-A of the Criminal Code – “reckless driving” after the case is fully documented.
