VMRO-DPMNE MP Dafina Stojanoska urged restraint and emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting those affected by the tragedy in Kočani during a session of the Committee on Financing and Budget in the Assembly. Stojanoska highlighted that the Government, led by VMRO-DPMNE, has a coordinated plan for assistance and long-term support for the injured and the families of the victims.

Stojanoska reiterated the Prime Minister’s statements that Kočani is a priority for the Government and that the health of the injured is paramount. She added that the psychological well-being of all traumatized individuals is being monitored and that assistance will be provided in every way possible.

She cautioned against politicizing the tragedy and urged fellow MPs to avoid saying things that could hurt the souls of those affected, she added, and to allow the current government to handle the situation. Stojanoska emphasized the importance of unity and support for Kočani, warning against hindering the government’s efforts.

She stated that the Government took immediate and coordinated action following the tragedy, ensuring the rehabilitation of the injured and providing ongoing support to the families of the deceased and injured. According to her, plans and programs for Kočani are underway and the families will receive assistance in every way throughout their lives.

Stojanoska concluded by calling for unity and remembrance of the victims, and also emphasized the Government’s clear plan to assist the victims and their families.
