Employees of cultural institutions will receive their salaries with the mandated increase within the first two working days of next week. This announcement comes from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, addressing concerns about delayed payments.
The ministry clarified that the delay was due to the necessary harmonization of salary calculations with the Ministry of Finance. This alignment ensures that the salary payments are in accordance with both the law and the Collective Agreement.
The salary increase will be included in the payments, as stipulated by the relevant legal frameworks. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism is working to ensure that this issue is resolved promptly.
Previously, the Union had expressed concerns regarding the delay, especially as it coincided with a major Christian holiday.
