Crystal Palace took an early lead against Brighton with a goal from Mateta in the third minute, but Brighton equalized through Welbeck. Muñoz then scored in the 55th minute, giving the home team the lead once more and ultimately sealing the victory. The match was further marked by red cards issued to Nketiah, Guehi, and Brighton’s Van Hecke, however the score remained unchanged.

The match between West Ham and Bournemouth ended in a 2-2 draw. Evanilson put Bournemouth ahead in the 38th minute.
