A criminal complaint has been filed against M.P., a clerk for administrative affairs in Kumanovo, for negligent work in the service. The complaint was submitted by the Department for Internal Control, Criminal Investigations and Professional Standards at the Ministry of Interior to the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office Kumanovo.
The charges stem from incidents in December 2024 when M.P. allegedly extended vehicle registrations without proper documentation. On December 20, 2024, M.P. extended the registration of a “Tirsan” trailer and a “Chevrolet Kalos” passenger vehicle even though the required technical inspections had not been completed.
Further, on December 27, 2024, M.P. extended the registration of an “Opel Corsa” passenger vehicle despite the applicant presenting an expired ID card, which does not meet the requirements for vehicle registration. It is also alleged that M.P. performed these actions while on sick leave.
In response, the Department for Internal Control, Criminal Investigations and Professional Standards has proposed disciplinary action against M.P. and has imposed a mandatory suspension from her position pending the completion of the disciplinary procedure. This suspension serves as a removal from the workplace while the investigation proceeds.
