A.M., 51, from Struga, faces criminal charges from SVR Ohrid for allegedly usurping real estate and engaging in illegal construction.

The Ministry of Interior reports that during 2024 and 2025 in Struga, A.M., acting as an investor, allegedly took possession of a portion of Ohrid Lake, which is designated as a “Protected area – Monument of Nature,” on state land. It is also alleged that A.M. constructed a supporting wall of solid material without proper authorization from the relevant authorities.
