Three police officers in Kocani, identified by their initials K.B., G.L., and A.T., face criminal charges for abuse of official position related to the “Puls” discotheque.
The Ministry of Interior reports that K.B., a junior inspector, and G.L., an inspector, allegedly prepared false reports following inspections at the “Puls” cabaret. These reports incorrectly cited an inactive legal entity, DPTU Klasik DM DOO Kocani, and its responsible person, D.J., instead of the active entity, DPTUU MMMM Cafe DOOEL Kocani, branch cabaret “Puls,” and its responsible person, M.S. This allegedly resulted in financial gain for the active legal entity and its responsible person, Mitko Stojanov.
A.T., the commander of the Kocani Police Station at the time, is accused of approving and signing requests to initiate misdemeanor proceedings against the inactive legal entity and responsible person on two occasions in February 2024. A.T. allegedly submitted these requests to the Basic Court Kocani – Department for Misdemeanors, despite knowing that the legal entity had been registered under a different name since February 2023. The initial reports used in these requests were determined by K.B. and G.L. in October and November 2023.
