Three police officers from PSON Aerodrom at SVR Skopje, M.T., S.R., and F.G., have been criminally charged. The charges include “maltreatment in the performance of duty” and “violation of the inviolability of the home.”

The incident occurred on February 24, 2025, when M.T. and S.R. arrived at a Skopje resident’s apartment, stating they were there for an official interview regarding a complaint filed by his wife. When the resident refused them entry without a court order, M.T. allegedly entered the home without authorization.

M.T. then allegedly forcibly pulled the resident, struck him on the leg, and attempted to detain him in front of his minor son. S.R. and F.G. are also accused of violating the inviolability of the home.

In addition to the criminal charges, the Department of Internal Control, Criminal Investigations and Professional Standards has proposed disciplinary action against the officers, including suspension pending the completion of the disciplinary procedure.
