The court has approved the indictment against Vasil Jovanov, the driver accused of causing the death of Frosina Kulavkova in a traffic accident. The incident occurred in January 2025 on Partizanski Odredi Boulevard at a pedestrian crossing.

The Council for the evaluation of the indictment approved the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office indictment against V.J. on March 27, 2025. The charges relate to serious offenses against the safety of persons and property in traffic, specifically under Article 300, paragraph 2, in connection with Article 297, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.

The Criminal Court has formed a criminal case based on the approved indictment. The case will be assigned through the AKMIS system for further proceedings. Parties involved and the public will be notified when a date for the main hearing is scheduled. The victim, F.K., was 22 years old at the time of the accident.
