Centar Municipality is offering subsidies for residents who purchase bicycles, e-bikes, e-scooters, and related equipment. This initiative promotes environmentally conscious transportation options within the community.

Mayor Goran Gerasimovski encourages residents to apply, emphasizing the health benefits and positive impact on the environment. He notes that choosing cycling over driving reduces traffic congestion and contributes to cleaner air. Since 2022, the municipality has provided 376 subsidies for bicycles, 47 for e-bikes and e-scooters, and 7 for additional equipment.

The subsidy covers 30% of the vehicle’s cost, up to 3,000 denars. For additional equipment like child seats and helmets, the subsidy is up to 1,000 denars.

The public call opened on March 24, and applications are processed in order of arrival. Residents can submit their applications to the Centar Municipality archive, barrack number 6, on weekdays between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. This is a one-time subsidy opportunity.
