A car accident near Tetovo last night resulted in injuries to two people, including a minor, after a vehicle veered off the road and into the Vardar River. Police reported that the incident occurred at 7:40 p.m. on the local road to the village of Chelpek, close to the bridge over the Vardar River. According to authorities, a “Golf” car with Skopje license plates, driven by a 39-year-old from Tetovo identified as T.M., went off course and into the river. The driver and a minor passenger were injured and received medical confirmation at the Tetovo Clinical Hospital. An investigation into the circumstances of the accident has been carried out.
