Bozinovska: Technological Development Requires Partners, Macedonia and the Czech Republic Deepen Energy and Technological Ties

A forum organized by the Czech Embassy in Skopje highlighted the importance of international partnerships in driving technological progress, particularly between the Czech Republic and Macedonia in the energy and technology sectors. The event, according to the Ministry of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources, served as a platform for exchanging ideas, experiences, and initiating new collaborations.

Deputy Prime Minister Izet Medziti, Minister of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources Sanja Bozinovska, and Czech Ambassador Jaroslav Ludva attended the forum. Discussions centered on the green transition, renewable energy sources, digitalization, and technological innovations.

Minister Bozinovska emphasized the importance of collaboration, stating, “We gave strong support for new partnerships between institutions, the business sector, and experts from both countries… From energy to digitalization – we have a lot to share, but even more to build together.” She also acknowledged the Czech Republic’s expertise in modern power plants and digitalization.

Czech companies specializing in mining, energy, and the machine industry delivered presentations at the forum. These presentations emphasized technological solutions for renewable sources, digital control of industrial systems, and modern equipment for energy production and raw material processing.

The forum was supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, along with the Czech Extraction and Mining Technology association. Participants concluded that coordination of ideas, resources, and visions is essential for addressing energy challenges and advancing technologically.
