Three Czech citizens were apprehended near the village of Podmol after being observed in a suspicious vehicle during a border crossing surveillance check. Authorities discovered 20 old coins during a search of their residence in Prilep. The individuals, identified as J.M. (26), F.K. (53), and M.H. (47), were taken into custody and transported to the Prilep Police Station. The arrests followed an inspection of the video surveillance system at the Police Station for Border Crossing Staravina, where a “Dacia Duster” vehicle with foreign license plates was spotted at the “Brest” location. A subsequent search of their rented apartment, authorized by a public prosecutor, revealed a metal box containing the coins. The police are currently investigating the matter further.
